Looks like I'm not going to make this one. My wife's birthday is this weekend and I still don't have anything bottled, so it looks like I won't have any time to get this done. I have a really good Pilsner and Vienna, but I just don't have time to bottle.
I will probably still judge this comp, so go ahead and enter so I can taste some good beers.

About a year and a half ago, Brent and I brewed a couple of collaboration beers. He brewed an Imperial Milk Stout marrying his Imperial Stout recipe with my Milk Stout recipe, and I brewed a Vienna Rye Lager. The lager is long gone at this point, but I've still got some of the milk stout, so I entered it.
Apparently that was a good idea, because it took first place in Specialty, and 4th place in the BOS round. So good job, Brent!
Unfortunately my O'fest didn't place, and I didn't see any other brewcommune mentions on the winner list...
(If the beer was brewed on Brent's system, but I've since bought that brew sculpture from him, can I claim it was brewed on "my" system??)

Cool!
Brad - it's too bad the DIPA wasn't ready yet. I tried some last night and after judging IPAs on Saturday I think it would have won that category.

Well done!! I entered a porter I thought would do well, but guess it wasn't 'well enough' maybe it was too young. Will give it some time and try again another day. Again, Congrats to Brenter n Brad!
