Winner gets their beer brewed by Bottle Logic, and entry into GABF Pro-Am...

As far as I'm concerned, with the talent we have in Brewcommune, we should make an all-out push and bring home BOS.

And our friends over at Windsor Homebrew are a drop-off location, so we have no excuses!

Entry deadline Aug 19.
Drop-off Aug 19-25.

Has anyone volunteered at this event in the past? Worthwhile?

I judge there and it is run mostly by the same group as the O.C. Fair and would be a good place to volunteer and learn about competitions and getting to taste the best beers.

I volunteer the 1st year & poured beers at the Firestone Walker booth. It was fun, I poured the morning session and wandered around to other booths for half the shift. I thought about doing it again this year.

I hadn't mentioned but anyone who enters will be invited to some sort of later bottle-share event for homebrewers only... Much like we used to do for the OC fair, entering one beer for $6 might be worth it JUST to attend that...

I've never been to the fest of ales so I think I might go this year, It would be fun to see winners announced rather than just get a list online released.
