It's a good comp with tons of entries. If you win here, you know you are on the right track.

I think my O'fest might be worthy enough to enter...
Is anyone planning on making a run down there for drop-off? I'm not sure I have any plans to go down there by the 24th, especially since I'll be burning a weekend day in a few weeks to host the club brewday.

I am going down to Alesmith to drop off this Fri. Let me know if I can transport for you. Give me a howler.

AFC will be my first time judging a competition. I just received my judging assignment and I am excited to be paired up with Peter Zien. I'm really looking forward to this weekend. It should be a good learning opportunity.
Re: 2016 America's Finest City
Good luck on your first time judging Justin!

You will learn a lot from Peter and your scoresheet will be much better than that useless example.

Good luck Justin.
When I dropped off beers at Alesmith's new tasting room, which is huge, got to talk to Peter Zien for a short time, very personable and informative.
Let us know how it went.

Any idea if the results will be posted soon, or do we have to wait for QUAFF to have their monthly meeting in 2 weeks?
Waiting on beer competition results is torture.

I haven't entered this one in a while, but I seem to remember that they announce the winners at their meeting. So, it looks like you might have to wait.

Congratulations to our distinguished Tim, who further distinguished himself with 2nd and 3rd place honors in this year's AFC!
