I posted this over on Discord as well for anyone using that. But I'm trying to come up with a simple and quick recipe to take on a camping trip in a few months. I came up with this partial mash honey blonde recipe that I hope would be simple and quick and result in a highly drinkable beer. Any feedback?

I'll be brewing this up this weekend if all goes to plan.

Feedback on this one since we sampled it at last nights meeting - it was not idiot proof.
Somehow the LME got caramelized and it is not a blonde. More like an amber ale with not a lot of character. Suggestion was to try dry hopping it. I may. Or may dump it and move on. Fermentation was clean and no off flavors, so that's good.

First goal met... you made clean beer!

Wish I was in town for the meeting to sample this one. Hope to try it at some point!

Thanks Chris! I'm currently playing with the idea of adding jalapeno to it. It's a good base for experimenting and at least trying to learn something new. If it doesn't turn out, no harm no foul.
