What do you guys do for heat wash up the sides of the kettles on your systems?
I'm thinking of adding a heat shield that should spill the heat out the back of the stand. I'm picturing a top hat. Picture it with a square "brim" and about 90*-120* of the cylinder opened to the back, obviously the "top" would be open. Invert that and drop it down over the burner, resting on the kettle support members and the kettle would sit onto of it. The "brim" would fill all the space between the rails and the kettle would fill the "head opening". The heat would be forced out the back through the missing 90-120*.
It would be a heat shield/wind guard all in one.
