temperature change

Post by snickerrby »

Right now i have a trappist ale sitting in my fridge at about 40f. I want to brew a pilsner next but that would require me to bring the temperature of my fridge up a bit. would the change be to significant. The ale is in it's conditioning stage right now.

If the ale is conditioning, then bringing it up to 52~56* shouldn't be any issue at all. THere is a slight chance it could start fermenting again, so make sure the carboy or container can vent (ie, has an airlock) is all.
