Hey all,
I just became aware of a little bill in the House of Representatives which, if passed, can limit your ability to order beer, wine & liquor from online/mail-order sources. The wine & beer wholesalers wrote this bill so that they can stop consumers from having their favorite booze shipped accross state lines, and instead only buy it from their local retailer, if they carry it.
H.R. 1161 FAQ
Seems like a bad idea, and big step backward. I always get concerned when special interests write their own bill and then lobby it through Congress. That bill tends to be self serving.
If you care about this, please send an email to your local U.S. Congressman.
Many thanks,
-LexusChris

Very nice!
Sometimes you only get back a generic issue-independent form letter, or even worse, a letter telling you why you are wrong...
Glad he recognized the issue!

Another one to write in about is HR-4646 ... a 1% tax on all financial transactions. Hold onto your wallets, else the politicians will have their hands in them.
