So I made my starter for my Saison tomorrow, and it smells...different. I want to say there's a slight banana smell to it, but I just don't know enough. I hope it isn't bad. I just really wish I could send a smell so someone else could tell me if I messed up. I may also be worried about nothing, after all, I have had homebrews

Fruity smells coming from a saison yeast is expected. Saison yeasts tend to have all sorts of different flavors and aromas. It looks like you're going for a Saison Rue clone? Which yeast are you using?

White Labs Saison II, I bought it in the summer and just kinda forgot about it. I needed an excuse to use it instead of throw it out, and my roommate and I like the Bruery
